Results

The global objective of UPDATEST is to equip people in the food sector with workplace-oriented, skills and competences about new inspection technologies for food quality, safety and defence assurance. 

  • R1. LEARNING PROGRAMME GUIDELINES.
    This document is intended to assist learning centres and their staff during planning for the introduction of the new courses. It will deal with different aspects, namely: objectives and outcomes, audiences, duration, resources, evaluation, quality, and opportunities for recognition and validation of the outcomes.
  • R2. SUPPORT MATERIALS FOR THE IN-PERSON PROGRAMME.
    This compilation of materials will give a general, practical outline of new food inspection technologies. It will consist of scientific & technical publications, paper brochures of food inspection instrumentation, presentations, pictures, videos and datasets of food inspection instrumentation, experts’ speeches, among others.
  • R3. SUPPORT MATERIALS FOR THE E-LEARNING PROGRAMME.
    It will be based on a decision tree aiming at guiding users to a set of resources tailored to fit their specific needs. The e-learning platform will be built on Moodle and will include documents, links to internet-based resources, questionnaires, etc.
  • R4. COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION PLAN.
    It will define the strategy in terms of communication and dissemination target audiences and channels.
  • R5. EXPLOITATION AND SUSTAINABILITY PLAN.
    It will contain the strategy as for use of project results; extension to other audiences or knowledge areas; and influence on future policies and practices.
  • R6. MANAGEMENT PLAN.
    It will set the basis for project coordination in areas such as technical implementation, budget and finances, and reporting; and quality.
  • R7. QUALITY ASSESSMENT REPORT.
    These documents will be issued as complements to result R6 with the purpose of supporting re-planning and additional operations during and after the lifetime of the project.

As a result of the updatest project, an online training platform based on Moodle will be developed. All the contents have been developed collaboratively by the team of project partners and are available from this platform.
