Activities

The global objective of UPDATEST is to equip people in the food sector with workplace-oriented, skills and competences about new inspection technologies for food quality, safety and defence assurance. With this purpose, the following calendar of activities has been designed:

A1. GUIDELINES

November ’16 – April ’17

A validation analysis will be performed in the field of professional and learning practices by surveying a minimum of 100 stakeholders. The conclusions of such analysis will serve as a basis for the production of the guidelines for both the in-person and e-learning programmes (result R1). These guidelines will be eventually reviewed on the grounds of the conclusions of the pilot activities in A3. PILOT.

A2. PROGRAMME

April ’17 – March ’18

As a result of the project we will analyze, structure and implement a programme of contents on the objective subject, where we will find presentations, documents, didactic materials based on scientific or technical publications, information on inspection instruments (photographs, videos, brochures, etc … ), Which will be organized and structured based on an online training course, classified in units and subjects, with evaluation activities and collaborative tools for student-student and student-teacher interaction.

A3. PILOT

March ’18 – August ‘18

Two pilot, in-person and on-line courses will be executed in order to assess the learning programmes. Subsequently, the courses will be evaluated in order to obtain the assessment and validation of the products against the criteria defined in activity A1.
